PORTFOLIO

Essays, Creative Non-Fiction & Fiction

Recently, I’ve written personal essays on my flooding experience during Hurricane Harvey and a non-fiction piece about why I had to move out of New York City. I’m also working on my first novel, which is based on the true story of how my great grandparents – a fiery Austrian immigrant who grew up on the Lower East Side and her department store magnate husband – saved a group of Jews from the Holocaust with the help of a world leader. I was a finalist in historical fiction in the Writers' League of Texas' 2018 manuscript contest.
